As 2020 draws to a close it is that time of the year when we look back and reflect. I think that this year will be one that most people will remember for an exceptionally long time. It is also the time when we should be relaxing with family and friends, however due to the pandemic for some of us this may not be possible.

Just like last Christmas, at Contour Blinds we were looking forward to setting out our stall for another progressive year in the window shading industry, but no one could have envisaged what lay ahead.

We already had put in place our plans to design a new web site to replace our ageing site and to incorporate a complete new modern branding. This work started in January and www.contourblind.co.uk (our forth web site) which went live in June.

However, in the early part of 2020 there was a silent threat “waiting in the wings” that would soon make itself know and change and disrupt out lives for the rest of the year and will continue to do so for a the considerable future. I am of course referring to the dreaded silent killer the Covid-19 virus.

Like most other businesses the Factory went into lockdown at short notice on 2rd March and did not reopen until some seven weeks later. A very trying time to say the least.

This Christmas the factory will be shut for holidays from 23rd December and reopen on Monday 4th January. We will, as always still have staff available to answer any queries regarding our window blinds projects right through the holiday period. Believe it or not the Christmas holiday period has always been a busy time for our on-line window blind sales.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our past and present customers for their support and understanding during this most difficult year 2020. We look forward to being able to continue to supply you with our window blinds in the future from here at www.contourblinds.co.uk.

In conclusion may we take this opportunity to wish all our customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Most important, please stay safe.

Jackson, Siobhan, Kirsty, and all at Contour Blinds.
